7 Days bird Watching 

Day 1 Arrival
Arrive at Entebbe International airport to meet our company representative who will transfer you to your lodge. Depending on the time of arrival, after checking in you may be taken for a city tour.
Dinner and overnight at Sheraton Hotel, Serena Hotel or Tourist Hotel

Day 2 Mabamba
Early in the morning after breakfast transfer to Mabamba Village a home to plenty of bird species. When you reach the wetland you will go for a dugout canoe ride on the wetland that will enable you search and view the different bird species. Lookout for species like Swamp fly catcher, sported eagle awl, Greater sand plover, pied king fisher, Slender billed gull, Crowned hornbill, Caruthers’s cisticolas, Common tern, and the rare Shoebill stork. You will then transfer to your lodge.

Day 3 Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast you will transfer to western Uganda destination being Lake Mburo National park. You will do some birding enroute arrive in the afternoon. Check in and your lunch if time permits you will do some birding around the Entrance. Watch out for species like Red winged Francolin, lesser and greater moorhen, White winged warbler, northern black tit, Chin-spot Batis, Nubian woodpecker, Lilac breasted Roller and many more.
Dinner and overnight at Mantana Luxury Tented Camp or Rwonyo Camp

Day 4 Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast you will go for an early morning birding in the park to catch up with birds like Red faced barbet, Black-collared Barbet, Narina Trogon, Nightjars, Green capped Erremomela, Black Cuckoo-shrike, Coqui Francolin, Teminck’s Courser, African Wattled plover among others. After lunch you will go for a boat ride on the lake to look out for birds like Pied and Malachite Kingfishers, Yellow throated Leaf love, African fin foot, African water rail, spur winged plover, African Darter and many more.
Dinner and overnight at Mantana Luxury Tented Camp or Rwonyo Camp

Day 5 Lake Mburo National Park - Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will have a lunch stop in Mbarara town to reach in the afternoon check in at your lodge and if time permits. You will bird around the Mweya peninsula in the afternoon to search for birds like Red chested sunbird, Pin tailed Whydah and Brimstone Canary, Weavers, Grey carped warbler and many more.
Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge or Jacana Lodge

Day 6 Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast transfer to Kasenyi track where you will bird the whole morning. You can watch out birds like Stocks, raptors and variety of vultures. In the afternoon you will go for a launch cruise on the Kazinga channel which provides variety of water birds both resident and migrants. This trip also offers you an opportunity to view animals like hippos, elephants and buffaloes. On the Kazinga channel expect birds like Great white and pink backed Pelicans, Common Squacco Heron, African Open-billed Stork, African Jacana, African Fish Eagle, White-faced Whistling and Knob-billed Ducks, Swamp Flycatcher and many more.

Day 7 Queen Elizabeth National Park – Kampala
Have breakfast and go for more birding in the Kyambura gorge. You can watch out for birds like the spectacular black bee eater, Blue breasted king fisher, Black and African Black Emerald Cuckoos, Speckled Tinker bird, green Hylia, White-spotted Fluftail and many more. Later you will then drive back to Kampala to have a stop in Mbarara for lunch and then proceed to reach in the late afternoon.
