Gorilla Tour Uganda and Lake Mburo Wildlife Safari
4 Days Tour to Lake Mburo and Bwindi.
Have breakfast to drive off along Masaka road to Lake Mburo National park the journey is approximately 230kms. Lake Mburo is one of the smallest Savannah parks with plenty of antelopes including the impala from which the name of the capital city of Uganda-Kampala- was derived. You will reach in the afternoon to have lunch and then go for a boat ride on Lake Mburo. This ride will reward you with view of animals and birds at the shores. Catch an early morning cup of tea and set off for a game drive in the park, you will then proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable national Park in the afternoon after lunch. Bwindi is known for its gorillas although the park is also a habitat for other animals and plenty of birds. You will reach Bwindi in the evening a right time to go for a community walk where you will be entertained with some of the cultural dances of the community amazing. Wake up and prepare for a remarkable experience. You will have breakfast to transfer to the park headquarters for briefing before setting off to the forest in search for gorillas. The guide will brief you and at 9:00 am you will set off to the forest for these apes. The time you will take searching these humble apes is unpredictable however it ranges between 2-9 hours depending on their movement. The activity requires you to go through steep rocks climbing up and down making it interesting, however the thrill of encountering these giant primates memories you went through in trying to find them. Dinner and over night at Gorilla Resort or Buhoma homestead.
In the morning after break fast you will be driven back to Kampala but on your way can visit places like the equator for important information and lunch in the late afternoon, you will have reached the city a right time to go to the airport for your next fright back home.
