In the following four days, you will cover two parks in the northern part
of Tanzania. You therefore start with Ngorongoro Crater, which inhibits
a variety of wildlife. You will have no trouble seeing the lion, elephant,
rhino, buffalo and many species of plain animals- wildebeest, zebra, reedbuck,
and Thompson gazelle among others. It is an attraction of its own and
is one of the wonders of the natural world. Then you will visit Tarangire
national park, a park of giant baobab trees, rolling savannah and acacia
parkland. It is known for its dense wildlife population. Your stay is
in top class accommodation throughout. You can however visit these national
parks all seasons in a year.
Itinerary:

Before departing from Arusha you will be served lunch at Impala Hotel,
Arusha, at approximately 1230 hrs. You therefore depart for Ngorongoro
Conservation Area at 1400 hrs. Hence you arrive in the evening a time
for dinner at the lodge. The lodge is located on the edge of the Ngorongoro
Crater from where you have beautiful views of the collapsed volcano, all
this will be seen from Ngorongoro Serena Lodge.

After an early breakfast you will leave for the crater tour. The drive
starts with the 600 m descent to the crater floor, a magnificent natural
amphitheatre. Covering approximately 260 sq. km, the crater is an attraction
of its own right and is also one of the wonders of the natural world.
The crater is a home to variety of wildlife. You will have no trouble
seeing the lions, elephants, rhinos, buffaloes and also many species of
plain animals, wildebeests, zebra, reedbuck, Thompson gazelle and among
others. It should be noted however that you will be having packed lunch
in the course of the tour. You will have dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro
Serena Lodge.

After an early breakfast, you will leave at 0800 hrs for Tarangire National
Park to arrive in time for lunch at your lodge. At 1500 hrs you can go
for an afternoon game drive. Tarangire is a park of giant baobab trees,
rolling savannah and acacia parkland. It is known for its dense wildlife
population, which is most spectacular in the dry season between June and
September. It is during this period that thousands of animals like the
wildebeest, zebra, eland, hartebeest, buffalo, and oryx migrate from the
dry Masai steep to the Tarangire River in search of water. While the predators
like the lions, leopards and others as is the custom in the savanna follow
closely also birds are also abundant here and over 550 species have been
recorded. You will also have dinner and overnight at Tarangire Sopa Lodge

0630 hrs- you will go for an early morning game drive in the park, where
Temperatures are cool in the early morning period and it is a good time
to spot animals. Return to the lodge for breakfast and thereafter check
out and leave for Arusha to arrive for lunch at Impala Hotel at 1200 hrs.
In the afternoon you drive to the airport for your next flight back home.
